Build one controlled project brief
Name the intended user, grooming task, destination market, quantity range and launch timing. Then list the chosen model, color, logo, label, packaging, accessories, voltage and plug as separate approval items.
Avoid using a photograph as the full specification. Images do not reliably communicate electrical configuration, included parts, software behavior or document scope.
Separate product and brand approvals
Approve functional samples before treating artwork as final. A color or packaging sample may confirm appearance but not prove the full production configuration.
Maintain revision numbers for artwork, labels, instructions and cartons. The buyer should identify who owns translations, warnings, barcodes and destination-market claims.
Create evidence and change gates
Match available compliance evidence to the selected model and market. Request the complete transaction document set needed by the importer and do not advertise a certificate more broadly than its stated model scope.
After approval, define which changes require written consent. Substituting a battery, adapter, blade, material or label can affect performance, documentation and customer support.
Plan production, shipment and support
Agree the inspection stages, packing checks, shipment records and approach to nonconforming units. Keep a retained approved sample or equivalent reference where practical.
Before launch, prepare replacement-part, warranty and contact information for the customer-facing market. PCS evaluates OEM and ODM requests against the selected model and project requirements.
