Define the product before comparing factories
Write a requirement sheet covering animal, coat, workload, corded or cordless operation, blade system, target voltage, plug, packaging and sales market. Without this baseline, quotations often describe different products and cannot be compared fairly.
Keep model facts separate. A battery, blade, rating or document shown for one clipper must not be transferred to another model unless the supplier confirms it in writing.

Verify manufacturing and quality stages
Ask which stages are performed or controlled by the supplier, such as injection molding, component preparation, assembly, functional checks and packing. A factory tour or process page is useful only when the buyer can connect it to the proposed model and order.
Request the inspection points, sample approval method and method for handling a failed check. Do not treat a general factory photograph as proof that every unit has passed a particular test.
Match documents to the model and market
Review the model names, applicant, reference number, issue date, directive and standards printed on each document. A certificate or verification applies to the models it names and should be read with its supporting report.
The destination importer remains responsible for confirming current market and transaction requirements. Ask for updated documents before an order rather than relying on an undated catalogue claim.
Approve a sample before scale
Test an identified sample under the intended workload. Record cutting task, session duration, operator handling, blade condition, charging or cord setup, cleaning and any failure. Freeze the approved specification and packaging before production.
